Artist Statement
Theresa Magennis
I was reared in a rural country area near a small village on the border of Meath/Louth surrounded by forest and bog. I love all animals and birds. I watched Frank Clarke’s painting on TV on Sunday mornings and I became interested. My first art lessons commenced in Aclint Community Hall in 2001 followed by an exhibition in the same year. Painting is my favourite pastime now. I like to paint trees and birds.
Medium: Watercolour and acrylics.
Painting on left: The Fox is a watercolour and is 19"x17"insize. It is framed and costs € 80.
Painting in centre: The Sand dunes is a acrylic and is 21"x16"in size. It is framed and costs €80 .
Painting on right: The Rural Scene is a watercolor and is 13"x16" in size and costs € 80 .
